Peppermint Holy Basil Chocolate Tea Recipe for Relaxation and Warmth

It is crisp here in PNW.  I need, yes, need something warm in my cup.

This is easy to make with a few ingredients.

TO MAKE:

  • 2 teaspoon Peppermint leaf
  • 1 teaspoon Holy Basil (Tulsi)

Pour 1.5 cups boiling water.

Let steep for 15 minutes.

Strain.

  • Add 1 Tablespoon Cocoa (Cacao) powder
  • Stevia, honey or other natural sweetener to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

Top with a hefty splash of real cream & milk.

What a combo of Healthy Deliciousness!

Properties of the Ingredients: 

  • Peppermint- anti-spasmatic, digestion, stress, anxiety, brain health
  • Holy Basil (Tulsi)- stress, headaches, immunity, relaxant, anti-inflammatory
  • Cacao-mood, calming, stress, anxiety, brain health
  • Cream-plain yum

I either grow and dry the herbs or purchase from an organic source like Mountain Rose Herbs.
